The Saguaro Palm Springs

Obsessed with color? The rainbow bright Saguaro Palm Springs is the place for you! The Sydell Group, who are also the developers of the Ace hotel in New York and Palm Springs, have re-vamped a three-story Holiday Inn as  The Saguaro Palm Springs. (For those unfamiliar with the cacti of the Southwest, that’s pronounced “Suh-whar-oh.” Do not say “Sag-ware-oh,” or everyone will laugh at you!) It’s opening this month and rooms are going for a cool $400-$566 a pop.

We had the honor of doing a fun and bright photo shoot for the hotel. Check out the pictures below.

We draped the tables with a fun grey chevron overlay and set the scene with Trio of yellow and orange Moroccan lanterns with a collection of crocus vases filled with a pave of succulents each with a mono floral accent, hot pink ranunculus, purple anomie and yellow billy balls with lime mindelino twists.

Sneak peak – The Humana Golf Tournament’s Celebration Gala

Here’s a few photos from The Humana Golf Tournament’s Celebration Gala.

This is just a sneak peak into the AMAZING evening with President Bill Clinton entertainment by the one-and-only Sarah McLaughlin.

Feast your eyes on this gorgeous stage covered in crinkle linens of Humana dark green set in a sea of Humana plum table linens.

Centerpieces of white candelabras and white Moroccan lanterns dramatic with candlelight and landscaped with containers filled with celadon hydrangea, and Hot Lady roses give the tables a lush but fun and relaxed feel.

Keep on checking the blog…. More spectacular photos to come!

Leaving on A Jet Plane!

You have to see this amazing table-scape we designed for a private dinner party in Palm Desert. The theme was “Leaving on A Jet Plane!”

We used a  16’ X 48” King table and draped it with a moss green crinkle taffeta table linen,  Glass chargers with a silver rim ,  black crinkle taffeta napkins, and silver napkin rings. We set acrylic “ghost chairs” around the table for a seamless design.

The main attraction of the table was the Artisan Designed “Table-Scape”:  12’ X 24” run way with two airplane figurines set on clear glass planters with a desert scape inside the planter and will continue up to the top and perimeter parts of the runway, the runway will be illuminated from under, the landscape will consist of burgundy cymbidium blooms, succulents, fiddlehead fern, Billy balls sand and stone.

Tall staggered candle stands with floating white candles in clusters of three down flanked the side of the runway.

The tables were dressed with  Gold lamour table linens,  Red and gold Chinese overlays,  Gold lamour napkins,

red enamel chop sticks, and set with black  chiavari chairs with black cushions

The centerpieces consisted of low black Asian inspired container with a stylized arrangement of

Penguin’s On Ice

We had so much fun designing “PENGUINS ON ICE” for Desert Regional Medical Center’s Annual Holiday Party. This years theme featured turquoise and white with accents of champagne.

The stage was set with a silver turquoise backdrop, large hanging snowflakes and cute little penguins dressed to impress,  nestled on a bed of snow.

Half of the centerpieces consisted of large floral penguins sitting

on a be of turquoise ice with white glittered snowflakes in a white

enameled gold wire twists. The rest of the tables were adorned with

a duo of white lanterns with pillar candles and

two white cubes nestled between the lanterns filled with flocked

princess pine, white hydrangea, glittered turquoise snowflakes, Eskimo

roses, and turquoise ornaments and four tall clear glass votives.

The buffet was set with white lanterns and

white boxes varied in shape and size

filled with an explosion of white garden callas nestled in a bed of white

hydrangea, glittered turquoise snowflakes, Eskimo roses, flocked princess

pine and turquoise ornaments.

Large Mosaic goblets filled with flocked princess
pine and turquoise ornaments added  a touch of sparkle to the  room
And what holiday party would be complete without a giant blue christmas tree?

Dana + Colin

Check out this super fun and sexy day-after wedding shoot. Dana and Colin had a beautiful destination wedding at a private estate in Palm Springs. The day after the wedding they headed up to Joshua Tree National Park for this stunning photo shoot. This is a great option for a couple that wants lots of bridal portraits without spending their entire wedding day taking photos. Enjoy!
