Judy’s Surprise 50th Birthday Party

We created this fun surprise 50th birthday party at Thunderbird Country Club over the weekend. The Theme was

whimsy and fun colors of purple, hot pink, and lime green.

Cocktail style party… stylized and artistic flowers as art with BLING!

We draped the tables with fuchsia elastic taffeta linens and lime green lamour napkins. The centerpieces consisted of

square glass aquarium planter filled with wheat grass

and springing hot pink peony, pink mini Gerber with black center and

purple anomie’s with hot pink and green ribbon.

The Delicious white cake was fresh raspberry and raspberry moose filling

Hot Pink & Chevron Print Baby Shower

Artisan wedding coordinator Liz Sklar planned this girly, modern, and FUN baby shower for her dear friend

Teal . If you love all things chevron print, this blog is for you!

To warm up the modern room, Liz choose centerpieces consisting of a trio of milk glass bud vases filled with hot pink Peonies,

hot pink ranunculus, and hot pink anemones, styled with white ceramic elephants set on top of a gray chevron table runner.

Guests received hot pink chevron goodie bags filled with chocolate candies.

The delicious almond and berry cake was a huge hit with all the guests.The dessert table was dressed with a bright yellow chevron runner.

A Day In The Garden 2012

Artisan was fortunate enough to do TWO fabulous tables at this years A Day in the Garden. This fun and festive biennial event is a fundraiser for the Palm Springs Art Museum.

The first table theme was “Checkmate”

Set in the English countryside the table is composed as a large chessboard created with

roses, moss and giant cement chess pieces, set under a giant arbor with black and white

striped flowing fabric and a black crystal chandelier.

The second table theme was “By gone days of Hollywood- Cole Porter”

Set in the Old Hollywood the table is composed of SPARKLE and GLITZ with

Dancing Top Hats and Canes accented with floral musical notes we can actually feel

the vibe of Cole Porter. A tower of twisted garden callas and jewel’s center the table,

above flowing white organza creates a dreamy era of old Hollywood.

Moroccan Elegance Dinner Party

We transformed Toscana Country Club’s Wine Cellar into a a Moroccan Tent with all the bells and whistles. You have to check this out!

To create a tent feeling, we draped the walls in organza fabric of orange, yellow and turquoise

inside the room to attach to the chandelier in the center of the room.

Additional hanging Moroccan lanterns from the corners of the room finish the look.

Centerpieces were made up of collection of five elements, gold burnished pots filled

with mounded pave of mono color rich tea roses in colors of red, fuchsia,

orange a black finial filled with red tea roses and a silver elephants

all to create a landscape nestled in between the lanterns.

The Saguaro Palm Springs

Obsessed with color? The rainbow bright Saguaro Palm Springs is the place for you! The Sydell Group, who are also the developers of the Ace hotel in New York and Palm Springs, have re-vamped a three-story Holiday Inn as The Saguaro Palm Springs. (For those unfamiliar with the cacti of the Southwest, that’s pronounced “Suh-whar-oh.” Do not say “Sag-ware-oh,” or everyone will laugh at you!) It’s opening this month and rooms are going for a cool $400-$566 a pop.

We had the honor of doing a fun and bright photo shoot for the hotel. Check out the pictures below.

We draped the tables with a fun grey chevron overlay and set the scene with Trio of yellow and orange Moroccan lanterns with a collection of crocus vases filled with a pave of succulents each with a mono floral accent, hot pink ranunculus, purple anomie and yellow billy balls with lime mindelino twists.

Here’s a few photos from The Humana Golf Tournament’s Celebration Gala.

This is just a sneak peak into the AMAZING evening with President Bill Clinton entertainment by the one-and-only Sarah McLaughlin.

Feast your eyes on this gorgeous stage covered in crinkle linens of Humana dark green set in a sea of Humana plum table linens.

Centerpieces of white candelabras and white Moroccan lanterns dramatic with candlelight and landscaped with containers filled with celadon hydrangea, and Hot Lady roses give the tables a lush but fun and relaxed feel.
